The pair secretly investigate, and eventually, Holston decides he has to know the truth for himself, so he requests to go outside and names Juliette as his successor. Over time, Juliette begins to trust Holston and he, despite his fierce loyalty to the silo, can’t shake the feeling that her theories sound just like his late wife’s. She believes he was murdered and Holston wants to know why. She is convinced George’s untimely death, which occurred long after Allison left, was no suicide. Pivotal to the plot is Holston’s meeting Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson), George’s close friend (later revealed to be his romantic partner) and the silo’s lead engineer. Some sci-fi, definetely a dystopian society, a little uprising from below. Snyder - These two novels were perfection for me. These novels offer a new perspective of survival and living with zombies and that is why I think these novels would make some great gritty, dark movies.ħ. Zombie movies/novels have been getting lots of attention for a while now, and people are getting burnt out. The Forest of Hands and Teeth Series by Carrie Ryan - This is one of my favorite zombie series. They're the kind of "fight the man" novels where you know who to root for and then you're all in.Ħ. The Corpus Series by Jessica Khoury- These novels would be good movies as well. I think it could air on any TV channel.ĥ. There isn't much blood/gore, but a little violence. The Silo Series by Hugh Howey - These novels are lengthy and would make for a great TV series. the post-apocalyptic/dystopian world would have my attention for almost any movie.Ĥ. I love the strong characters and of course. The Razorland Series by Ann Aguirre - I'd love to see these novels as movies.
